    HI Joshua
The tower .. On some V8's.. are what the motor mounts bolt to if they don't bolt directly to the frame or cross member for a V8 applcation.

Generally, the A&W doesnt do the thursday nite hot rod meets until its a bit warmer. I try and make it down there once and awhile. It gets to be the same cars over and over, but I try and make it once or twice a month. Jim (owner of A&W) is a car nut and is the nicest guy around he even gives you a coupon for a free ice cream or soda. Like I said we generally start doing this in the warmer months as we like to stand around talking about cars. As for the sheet metal, my 75 still has the V8 in it and I wont know the condition of them until said motor is out. I know my 71 has huge holes cut in them for the grease zirk. As for finding the A&W is super easy to find. Come north on the freeway and take exit 3 go towards payette, you will have to go through 2 stop lights. First stoplight will be Fruitland continue straight, go across the payette river bridge, then there will be a fork in the highway go straight and through the 2nd stoplight. Continue going straight and you will come up on a albertsons on your right the road will split again, this time you will go right and you cant miss A&W, it'll be on your left. I'll let you know when we start doing them again. But anytime you need anything I'm easily reachable, and I'm not far from A&W.
