Here's my avatar blown up! Sorry, not sure how to make the image smaller. Picture taken in November 2010.

Your picture size is perfect and your car does look a little like a yellow jacket :)

Thank you. I'll have to scan a picture from 1999, before digital cameras were $20 bucks and before primer.

Kids this is what happens with sex, drugs and rock n roll!

    71' grabber
    Hi there,
My name is Rik. I just found this site yesterday. My first car was a 71'grebber back in 87'. I wrecked it in 89',hotrodding, sold it for parts. A few years ago I was talking to a coworker. He told me he just picked up a maverick for a projact with his son. I asked if it was a grabber. He said,"yes". I asked if it had the fake scoops on the hood, like my first one did, he said,"yes". I offered to bye it sight unseen. He said"no". I pestered for some months,he finely gave in. I now own a 71'grabber again:) Her body was pretty bad. I've done some body work. I'm customizing to make her one of a kind. I've shaved all the key holes includding ignition, trunk and even the gas cap. I cut out the fake mesh in the scoops so the engine can get some cool air at the top. I've got alot more to do but she's on the back burner for now.
