New problem, engine will not turn over at all...

    Well, its probably got all of 40 degrees of motion either way before it stops, I will try the tranny thing though, that sounds easy enough, I did spin it for the two bumps before I put it in, so we'll have to see, any other ideas. Thanks guys.

    Don, he would have had to turn the motor to put the bolts in to start with...:huh:
    i blew a front pump from not seating a C4 once...:yup:

    Pull the valve covers. If all looks good you could try to loosen the rockers so all the valves will be closed (which would eliminate the valve-to-piston interference). If you can turn the motor freely, you have found the problem, if it still binds its not the valves. Are you running a mechanical fuel pump, because it cound be a possibitity too.
