new problems..

    Yea, I used to try that too. DIdn't always work though. Pertronix (and all the rest of the drop in EFI units)solved all that s--t.....................:thumbs2:

    There is one other thing that I just thought of, check the inside of the distributor cap for carbon tracking. Sometimes the spark will jump down these tracks and cause all kinds of caos.

    well im sure it was the points now.. the car wont even turn over.. thanks for the advice electronic ign is deffinetly the next thing ill buy

    also, take that glass gas filter an pitch it! Pure junk and a fire hazard

    these are junk. they dont really filter the fuel that well and as said they can be a fire hazzered.
    it will let enough junk to get into the carb to cause problems.
    still get rid of the points and get a regular fuel filter.
