I live in New Haven county. The state is changing so fast it isnt funny. I'm still trying to figure out how to post pics... I only have 2 right now. The car isnt the worst looking car i've driven / pushed home. The 6 is coming out though (Sorry 6 fans, i know these are great engines). But I'm going the only route I know = 302. Singing to the tune of about 350hp! I know someone who can get me a c6 trans w/ shift kit & trans brake cheap ($500!!). So i'll probably go that route. Does anyone know if this trans will fit? I think it will and I dont mind massaging the tunnel. but if anyone has info on this "trans"plant, I would love to hear it!

me personally stick with the c4 get it looked at or even rebuilt, if not you will have to get drive shaft cut because c6 is larger, I don't think c6s are direct bolt it mostly used for trucks with high torque and large cars (my 66 comet has a c6 that is bolted to a 390 when new that engine gave about 335HP
C4s are strong can be built to handle over 1000 HP
Check out performanceautomatic thats where I got my c4

I too would stick with the c4. These trannies cab be built to take pretty much anything you can throw at it and you will have no fitment problems. I'm about 90% sure you would have to do major tunnel massage to put the c6 in. There is very little extra room in there.
