Well lets not leave any of us old farts behind either! But a FAQ's would be a good place to start. I think the first answer should be if you don't see what you're looking for then click "HERE" with here being the search button. As always just my .02 Terry Gates AKA Bossmav
if a "newbie" comes on and gets the info. they want, then they have no need to talk to anyone. it would be a info. site instead of a message board. the only time they would be back would be to do more research. look how many would have missed talking to me if i just came on to search for info. we have covered almost every part of a mav. or comet and we did this by talking to each other. i know i learn something every time i come on.could you see youself going to a mini meet and some new guy asks you a ?? and you tell them to look it up on the net. we are family, we have told the story before but someone else wants to hear it.sorry for being so long...frank...:bananaman :bananaman
The FAQ will not replace the ambiance of the forums, it will be a guide to help everone and no one will be left behind!
dennis, stefan, said "ambiance" . what does that mean ??? can he say that on this board? should we report him to the webmaster? stefan, the man, yea stefan, the man
too bad we can't program the site so that for any newbies under say 100 posts, hitting the "new post" button links straight to the search button
One thing I liked from the old site was that top 10 list of recent searches by members. I always liked reading those. Are they here someplace too?
