New wheels on my 4 door!

    If you want black primer PPG dp 90 is what I did to my driver. On the 4 dr nice interoir thats a real cool hot rod.

    It's hard to tell... Do you still have vinyl on the roof?

    If so, my experience was terrible with vinyl... My 75 had it and now the car is rust free, except for the roof. The little bit of metal that was left under there peeled right off with the vinyl!

    I must be the only guy who removed the vinyl top on a maverick to find no rust what so ever. Not Bad for an Ohio car that was outside for at least half it's life and possibly more/ Removed the top back in 92. So that was 22 years for the dreaded rust demon to attack. I am very thankful I got lucky!!! My qtr panels was another story though.....:yikes:

    Yeah it still has the vinyl roof, its in great condition, no signs of rust under it.. yet. I love vinyl tops on the four doors. :dance:

    Let the vinyl on .The 4dr I`m restoring got a new v-top put on it.

    i got lucky with the grabbers vinyl not having anything more than minor surface rust.
    i was going to put a top back on my four door, but more like the stuff they use on limos. that car jamie posted looks a lot better though.
