Great find, can't wait to see it after you spend some time on it. Yeah, white letters for sure, the white walls just don't do it!

    Awesome Ray ...........

I vote keep it stock, big bumpers and all. All your other cars are modified, correct? You need at least one put back to the way it left the showroom. :thumbs2:

Very cool find. I haven't seen many white Stallions. Congrats!! Are you bringing this to the Gathering or Roundup?

The Z-bar is different for the 6 and 8.

    I agree!!

Ray, I have a set of big bumpers you can have. Need to be rechromed though. Let me know if you are interested.

yeah, i know. but there has been some speculation about the 250 bar being the same as the V8 one because of the bellhousing bolt pattern being the same, so ive always been curious about it

Hmm.... I'm interested to know the outcome. I only have 200 Z-bars to compare to. I thought there were only two Z-bars (I6 and V8).

I won't be able to make either event this year due to office help. I do plan on making one or both next year though. Will have to wait and see what car.

I don't plan on taking the car apart for a 100% resto at this time. I'll do a repaint soon. Doesn't need hardly any body work so it will be an easy one. I need to get the seats repaired and will do that now. Carpet looks good enough since this car will be used as more of a driver for now. I figure to have all of this done by years end. I hope to start on my Sprint soon but will now put it off till the Stallion is done. I think I'll be taking the Sprint all the way down. Then I still have one more 71 Grabber to do. Geez! I think I'm gonna need some help here. :hmmm:

Thanks Alan, I'll let ya know if I don't find a nice one somewhere.

Definitely not the same as the v8 bar. It has a 1-piece. I will take some measurements when I get home and see if they might interchange. If so, it would probably be a bitch to get installed without it coming apart but I hear of people on here that have used Mustang 1-piece units.

Came from Ellensburg, about 100 SE of Seattle.
