oil leak after putting intake back on . . .

    I'd pull the valve cover gaskets and look at the gasket to see if it's actually seated where it's supposed to be. It doesn't take much to get one off the cover rail in the rear to get a healthy leak, especially under accelleration. No baffles in the valve covers and running a PCV will also suck up a lot of oil. Moving the PCV valve to the front of the valve cover will help, but only if there's a baffle under it.

    I searched the forum and i found this threat. I have the same problem as your i have leak at the bottom of my bellhousing. I installed a new rear main seal a new intake gasket but it still leak and the rear of my intake it also dry.

    I hope we can find the problem.
