The passenger side fender looks like it was replaced, so it was probably in an accident and that is why the 'nose' does not line up.

    Drag-N-Fly

The owner and I talked for over a half hour on the phone. He decribed a crease going the full length of the fender and door on the passenger side. Thus the fender and door replacement.

Well ...It is a rare (and d*mn ugly) piece of history .
No I dont want it ,but if I had just won the lottery It would be kinda cool to Have a Maverick collection complete with:

    (1) A brazillian Grabber
    (2) A Maverick station wagon
    (3) A Stallion
    (4) A Sprint
    (5) A Mint 69 1/2
    (6) A Mint `72 Grabber
    (7) A SHELBY Maverick
    (8) A Drag-n-fly (saved the Ugly one for last)

Of coarse when the collection was complete and in a Large garage ,I`d have to host a Maverick Meet with all of you invited so everyone could enjoy them! :p

hmm.... all the pics are to dark to see what the bottom of the front end looks like, I wonder if the front bumper is still there? I wonder what else is different on the car, any interior changes. Might be the last Drag-n-fly left. BUY IT!

wow, I must say, if the Japanese "rice" fad existed in the 70's, this was a good attempt to start it. the 70's had a bunch of strange appearance packages on many different cars to make up for slow engines.

Sure it is ugly as all hell, but (light bulb goes off) if one of us has too much time to play with, and too much money, we could buy a big wherehouse and buy every 70's reject car---you know all the weird ones such as this, and display em all and collect admissions.

Ok, not such a good idea.
