Unless I am mistaken, the wiper blade length of at least the early year Mav/Comets are 16" long, same as the '69-'70 Mustang/Cougar. They also have the argent finish to them, just like the Stang/Cougar ones.

I used to buy 43-160 type A Trico refills for my cars before Advance quit handling them. One day there was over 400 in the Lakeland warehouse and then they were gone. I assume they sent them back to Trico and then Trico sold them to restoration companies, like Daniel Carpenter, and suppliers, like NPD, Mustang Unlimited, CJ Pony Prts, etc.

The only refills sold now at Advance are ones you cut to the length you need, and the refills are notched by the inch. One of the 3 widths might work, I am not sure.

NPD sells 16" Trico refills for $7.40, which is about what the 43-160's sold for at Advance.

Nice! I went to the parts store the other day to get refills and they didn't have my size. I asked when they were coming and they told me never. The other store said SAME THING. Our local parts stores are no longer carrying refills, just the whole blade. I wish I could find somewhere that sold refills for $1.19, they were up to $5.00 here before they stopped selling them.

PRetty sure these are what I put on my Grabber. I bought the polished Wiper arms for my car instead of the standard brushed finish so these blades match perfectly.

Again ... it was a while ago and I could have sworn they were listed as being for classic VW when I bought them ... but they fit the old TRICO arm perfectly ... and they are 100% metal ... no plastic.
