Ok, and which way to send UPS or USPS ?? Is there a length limit? I'm pretty sure there isn't for UPS, I used to work for them, and I saw all kinds of things come off the trucks.

And "Fragile" always meant "Kick Me" in Italian at the Hub! :D :slap:

well I was at my rad shop today to pu my new 3 core.. there sitting on the floor was a box from a chev PU gas tank(new).. i took the box to my garage and presto. the dash of my 72 fit right in with lots of room. You would need to pack with something to stop the dash from bouncing around but it will work.. I asked my buddy if PU truck gas tanks all come in the same size boxes and he said most boxes are approx 12"x12"x 60" or so (y)

I have put a set of buckets in 1 box before. Turned one upside down and put it on top of the right side up one. The box was over size and had to pay extra but still shipped it UPS. They were low back buckets but would probably work for high back.

Mine are the Low Mustang Ones.

Do you remember approximately what they cost to ship? I was thinking the same thing. Just worried about the bottom bolts poking through anything. :slap:

I took the chrome off to be safe, and will wrap that up seperately, as with the red plastic pieces also.

I imagine the High Backs would be more expensive.

    Thanks for all the info.

I want to thank you all for the helpful info regarding packaging big parts. I may not need it though. If all goes well I may the proud new owner of a 4 door Maverick!(y) More info on that as I get it! Very excited about that!:D :D

I may still need help with the big parts, as I found a few junk yards with a couple of Comets, but no Mavericks. I'm working on getting all my pics into the "photobucket" site. So I can show the pictures without uploading them here.(y)
