Painter's remorse did I pick the wrong color

    Yeah I am going with the blackout treatment but the color I chose is really just not me but thanks for you complements !

    I am a yellow type person but the yellow your car currently is would need to be brighter for my likings, I have had a couple yellow cars and they were so bright you almost had to have sunglasses to look at them in bright sunlight, they were Viper yellow.

    Now as to the Calypso Corral that is a great color and very good attenion getter and sucks people in :thumbs2: I would definetly like to have a car that color.

    What ever you do I am sure it will be stunning

    I'm glad I painted my car the colors I did. Nothing else like it around and nothing to compare it to. Maybe find something differetn that hasnt been done before to make it stand out. Or you can never go wrong with black.

    The color is a good choice but you need to do some striping to it to set it off.trust me on this speaking from experience.I'am and x painter.it will look cool and get lots of thumbs up(y)(y)

    I felt the same way when I bought my yellow Mav, but it starts to grow on you and now I can't imagine it any other color. But like many have suggested, accent with black, makes a huge difference.

    Someday when I get mine repainted, I'm planning on a basic grabber stripe (without the wording), the 3/4 vinyl roof, blackout rear, and black accented hood...

    Go with the color that you like. It took me 3 times to get my color right. Started out to brown. Wanted more of an orange tint, to the copper/bronze color. Also added the black stripe on hood & top, to offset the color. Don't worry what others think. Do the color that you will like. You are the one that has to like it. Trust me! I love the final color, that my car was painted...

    Yeah Change it, I have a Comet up here in Richmond that will be Viper Yellow, can't have 2 yellow Comets that close together. :)

    Anyway I like it but like has been said, If you don't, now's the time to scuff and reshoot.

    Hey thanks your right its hard to get a vision on a color sometimes I thought I would like it more than I do so for now just sitting in the shop till I either scuff and re-shoot or sell it to someone else or put it together and live with it which won't happen:rofl2:
