i wouldnt be allowed to bring my car to a show like that... its ugly...

but i love all those cars... gives me some ideas for a future maverick project, thats for sure.. just gotta find one that isnt as rusted as mine

 

Thanks for the pics...great cars....wished i could have gone but i had to attend my 18th B-day celebration.

Is anyone going to the K&N show next month? Last year there was only one mav and one comet GT.

 

Where and when is the show and is there a registration fee?

I may have to take you up one that one year...I think I'm the only ProTour'er here so far. And I have the trailer now too.

 

You guys have all the fun. I also wish I could have been there. Maybe you'll can come here for a car show, so I want be the only Comet here that has the hear "why did you pic this car to do this to?"

 

I'd go if I could too, I can't count the number of times people ask me that question. I think it's only the " follow the crowd people" asking that question other wise they would not have to ask ..

 

Learned something new... the mustang II clips are the way to go. I think there were (3) of them there. Just talking to a guy at the show... he mentioned this car will handle better with updated suspension (30 year old etc.). I wish I would have known about this during my build. Kind of past this stage and not wanting to go backwards.

Maybe after I get all dialed in and happy with the car, we'll take another look at it. But just wanted to say thanks to the owners for letting is see what can be done with our cars.

Hell... one of them even had a Jaguar rear end in it.

No way, you think your car is ugly? You should have seen all the newer sport compacts But seriously, there were some pretty ratty cars in there, I think the show is open to anyone that wants to come represent their car... I had this feeling that I would get laughed at cuz my car isn't anywhere near the level these mavs and comet were.. But I realized it's all about runnin what you brung

 

The K&N show and Go is May 4-6 here in Riverside,Ca. I dont know about the registration since they dont give any info on their site, i will try to find out.
