Looks like you are still a couple weeks from firing it up, gonna take ya a while to get that upper radiator hose on.

Whats with the smog pump? using it for crank case ventilation? First I though vacuum pump but no brake booster.

I'm happy to report that my clutch pedal is functional...how about yours? :rofl2: The radiator hose isn't a problem, but the missing distributor could be an issue! Then again I have a crank sensor, so technically it might not be a problem, right?!?

Yep, with a turbo application it's important to keep negative pressure in the crankcase to help with ring sealing. Hence the big hose coming off my valve cover.

I saw that hose, is it running to a catch tank on the fenderwell? Do I see a nitrous purge line going up into the cowl where a windshield squirter would be?

I havent started on my clutch pedal yet. I didn't sell my AOD yet and try to start the project. Although I'm sure i could physically get the work done in time, i"m not sure I can financially get it done so I'm going to wait till after the meet.

I accept any and all assistance! LOL Thanks for the props Gene, I've got you scheduled for the next 15 days...(hopefully after the upper hose you can work on the lower hose as well) :yahoo:JK!

The hose from the cover goes to the pump. And then there is another hose that goes from the pump through the fenderwell to the vented catch can behind the headlight. I'm hoping that it doesn't suck so much oil out of the engine that it makes a mess in there, but only running it will tell me for sure.

So is the intercooler going through some sort of Ice cooled compartment inside the car? I could probably just save my questions for when I see it but i'm too curious.

Yep, I have a tank and pump in the trunk that will be filled with ice and water. It pumps it up under the dash to the air/water intercooler. The pipes come in from the turbo, through the intercooler and back out to the carb bonnet.

Thanks for the props guys. Four (or is it five?) years now I've been working on this thing. It's finally close.

What? I thought you wanted to see my tweed covered stereo box the most. If I put some PVC pipe running around my engine and paintit chrome will you want to see my car the most? What if I drill a big hole in my fender and put a ricer exhaust tip in it? i just cant compete with Tony I guess

I like the ricer exhaust so much that I'm considering cutting random holes throughout the car and putting them in. What do you all think? After all, if one it good a bunch is better! Maybe a Mad Max style Maverick?!?
