So what did you get Don? We need pics.

Gene I am too busy cleaning house today for the super bowl party. You can come get my car when you are done.

Tony This is one time the wife is right. Why don't you just drive it?

Rick are you actually making sense today? Are you sure you didnt copy and paste that insightful stuff?

Adam, you didnt say anything but you are probably knee deep in maverick stuff. Now put the beer down and get to work.

Ryan.. Get off the computer and finish cleaning and then go to work for 4 hours tonight.

Dont you just love Saturdays. :thumbs2:

Of course it starts. Wasn't I in Avondale yesterday. Ryan, Just send me the $500.

Went to the track and blew a freeze plug first thing this morning. Right behind the passenger motor mount. One of the guys had one that fit so I unbolted the motor mount from the engine, then took the mount bolt out, Jacked up the engine and had to remove the PS muffler, and was able to get another one in. By the tine I was finished I just put the car back in the trailer. They told me my Tech card would be good for next weekend.:oops:

I cleaned the house and had a super bowl party, then cleaned again.

I looked at the maverick twice this weekend. Thought about doing something and the closed the door again. I should have tried to start it, forgot that Dont drove by and did some magic mojo to it to make it start. I'll try it out on next saturday when I finally start cleaning it up.

I worked on my car for a total of about 2 hours this weekend (put in carpet cutting the shifter hole too big <doh!> and welded on the brackets for my montecarlo bar <welder is not working right...double doh!>). For those who wonder what all that other time went to...I have a 17 year old and he had the bug to install headers on his 1999 supercharged Pontiac Grand Prix. Needless to say, don't let anyone tell you that it's a bolt on deal!!! Just imagine rusty exhaust manifold bolts, brittle plastic sensors, sticky old gaskets, and a new set of headers that may or may not have been designed for bolt in installation. Probably still another day of work ahead of me to get this to the point where he can drive it again so I have to give him a ride to school until it is back together. Add that to the crown that I am going to get today and this week is starting out just right. I hate Mondays...
