It has been way too long since I have been on here. Just read about the meet Feb. 19th. I have a bit to do on my car, I will have to see if I can get it finished by then. probably will drive down regardless.

Hey Steve you have been gone a long time. Good to see you back here. Did you finish up the custom suspension you were working on or put it aside after you bought the drag car? I sent you notices every way I could about the meet so Im glad you finally saw it. Come on down and join the fun on the 19th.

this is so true. having a meet once a year is cool for good guys but we are local, we should have one maybe every month or every 2 months or even quarterly. im always looking for a new place to eat and hang out.

i was going to take my baby girl regaurdless. i have seat belts in the back so im good to go. i take her with me to almost every meet/car show.

I'll say!! I was beginning to wonder if you even still had the Mav. It would be great if you could make it...even better if you bring the car. I would love to see it. For all of you on here that don't know this fact...Steve's "yellow fever" Maverick used to be mine. :drive:

:naughty: Sorry Gene, No cool points awarded for cars you USED to own :rofl2: It is a cool car though. Did you build it or get it like that and race it? Maybe Steve will just fly down here in a helicopter and show us all what flying really is.

I built it and raced it...but back then it was just a mid-12 second naturally aspirated drag car...but now Steve has it screaming down the 1/4 mile with 11 flat or so et's...at least that's what he was running the last time I heard. Probably in the 10's by now.
