The inlaws drove themselves here all the way from Wisconsin, and didnt make a quick detour to pick up the parts. So i cant really drive them back, they got their own truck here, so Im stuck with them. Oh well, I'll get the stuff eventually, just when I heard they were coming I thought I would have my nice original black seat in before the meet. So i guess you guys can make fun of my old ripped up black seat along with my tweed kickpanels, i didnt have a chance to put in my black ones. Might as well make fun of my 7 way power Lincoln seats too. But by the next show, if its in the fall, I'll have my back seat, all black kickpanels and rear side panels, and my Mustang high back buckets redone. Maybe I just wont let anybody look inside my car for now.

I'm having second thoughts about this road trip, there seems to be a chance of rain so I might not make it. I'll wait a little longer closer to Fri and if there is still a chance it might not be worth while for me to make the drive.

Right now it shows 73 degrees and 30% chance of "Few Showers" If it does rain here it is usually only a cople square miles at a time and spotty across the city, and at 73 degress will be dry in minutes. But it could get better or worse by Friday. It cold rain during the day and still be a perfect evening with no evidence that it even rained here.

Dwindling down to about 12 cars that Im pretty sure wil be there, still more than i have ever seen at one time and will be great to see that many at one place. Plus more guys there just without the cars. Still a chance that the guys that arent active here or havn't replied to the invite will show up though.

Yeah its AZ the rain is no concern to me, wait 5 minutes and its gone around here. Even at the track 30 minute break and back to racing. "Phoenix" is so spread out like Ryan says its down pouring in the East Valley, and pure sunshine 75 degree weather in the West Valley..... Thats just the way it works out here.

You haven't seen mine yet. My Grandaughters call it Jack. Short for Jack-O-Lantern since it is Orange. They say I should put a green stem on the roof.:D

Ahh man don't worry about that. Very few on this board are judgemental about mavericks. As long as you have one you are one of the few. I really hope the weather is good so we can all make it there, we'll see.

i will be driving it to the meet. thursday or friday im going to take it to pass emissions and get plates but im not worried. it always starts like a champ and when ive taking it in the past, emissions are less than half the standards.

Gene do you want to convoy out there? may be a little out of your way to come down indian school instead of jumping on the 10 from your place. RobbieG is near the 101 and thomas too. We could all 3 meet up at maybe the QT just east of the 101 and Indian school?
