ALRIGHT!!!! Im only going to ask one time! WHO planned a wrench day for today? I woke up to snow on the ground today. SNOW! in Tucson, AZ. Im sure someone is secretly snickering and just could not wait for my reaction, However- I DO NOT FIND THIS FUNNY ONE BIT! I want this mess cleaned up and the temp's returned to normal RIGHT NOW!
All that was used to install a T5 in mine was a angle grinder and a mig welder, my mechanic used a angle grinder on the trans tunnel to make a hole for the shifter (he said the sawsall was just making a mess of things. and I used the angle grinder and welder to fab up my own crossmember with the help of some scrap steel I had. 71nogo; I was thinking about changing the spark plugs and oil in my wifes truck today... does that count? in the back of my mind I'm always thinking of working on my car but thats takes alot of energy lately... going up under the dash doesn't sound like fun right now (heater/ac box).
Huh, go figure. I worked on mine all day today. No snow, no rain, and it wasn't even as cold as they predicted. Must be the gods smiling on the Nascar race.
I drove mine around the block today to but i think i should probably register and insure it before i do that much more! but its running and moving on its own power
haha! yea hopefully i can get it registered in the next week or 2 so i can drive it around the block legally
Thats awesome Tony and Chad. Thats two more running Mavericks in Az. Great job, but just a couple weeks too late. Can't wait to see both of them at Central.
It's a gift Bryant! LOL Mine did all right. I still have an off idle stumble and the clutch needs some adjustment. I had a noise coming from one of my brakes as well and they still feel mushy. But I'm tackling each of these as they crop up.
yea i still have a few things to take care of on my car like the wiring under the dash, new headlights, front suspension needs some work, and the list goes on day by day!!
