I've been trying to work on my car lately but man I'm hurting... I've only been doing maintenance thus far, theres afew "free" things I'd like to do but my condition may not allow me to get them done any time soon (I need to install that "wave lock" shim by the brake pedal to stop it from raddling if I don't catch it just right). than there's some of the other things like doing the shelby drop which isn't expensive at all (but having to get new front springs costs abit), I'm temped to try and fab up some type of valances sents they are getting to hard to find, trimming down by big bumpers, lower my brake pedal (hate to have to buy a new master just to lower the pedal because I can't get that push rod out), nock out afew dings, etc, etc... all well thats life... to much to do when your in to much pain to do it.

Hmmmmmmm, someone may have to corect me I may be wrong but I am pretty sure the "shelby drop" is already in place from the factory on our year of cars. I think a good allignment is all that is needed.

I think we need a petition for getting the pole down to "active" forum members. Or atleast active in last 12 months. Think we could get a little higher up in the ranks

Welcome to the board John. Where in Az, are you and any pics of your car? From you rother post it looks like you have shaved shock towers, a 460? and a cowl hood.

    Hey Ryan,
I talked to John on the phone last night and he does indeed have a 460 and shaved shock towers. He told me that he was going to put the meet on his schedule and that he was planning on coming (probably without the car).

But you could start lobbying for him to bump our AZ numbers by one!

Phone? We can talk about mavericks on a phone? what is this you speak of? New technology? I thought we had to type about all things maverick.

Ok John tony made me do this, Go to this thread http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=25452 and vote for Arizona in the poll as your location. This helps determine the balance of power in the maverick universe.

Cool he added his location, it wasn't marked the other day when I saw him post. I went and linked him to the important stuff.

It's great to see more Arizona members! The next meet should really be great.

Not to change the subject, but anyone here going to the Southwest Nostalgia drags this Sunday at SpeedWorld? I should be there running in the special Inline Shootout class...it should be fun! :drive:
