I dont have a problem waiting, im sure one of those two weekends will work, dont think theres much of a chance for them to schedule a race on back to back weekends.

For now we can plan on it happening one of those weekends in February. and decide for sure when we can, will still have about 2 months notice once we pick a day so it shouldnt be a problem for most people.

If you start a new thread, make sure to drop a link into this one to the new one. You may lose some people if you don't.

Anyhow, from my perspective I don't plan more than a day or two ahead so February might as well be next century for me! LOL Maybe that's why my car is still in pieces. Go figure?!?

I remembered I sent a link in all my PMs to the other az guys and most havent joined this thread yet so I cant start a new one. We are stuck here. I sent a PM to a moderator to change the title.

There was a time when guys built race cars out of old street cars. Today, guys build race cars out of American Express payments.

I build street cars out of old race cars .

    My new signature...see below...

Unfortunately I build garage queens out of perfectly good cars.

I know what its like having a garage queen. Id be surprised if i put a combined 1000 miles on my maverick and 70 F-100 each year. Sometimes I just forget I have them until i need to go to the garage for something. Not as much fun having cars that are done and cant afford the big changes you want to do to them.

Yeah, I decided to do all the changes at once. BIG mistake! LOL This car had better take a long long time to tune or I'm going to get bored very quickly once it's finally done!

Tony, what is that a picture of? looks like a cut out for an exhaust.

I am hoping its more of an intake hole going to the turbo. That will be one loud son of a gun if that is the exhaust outlet.

Thats the exhaust ...turbo cars are kinda quiet compared to a basic Flowmaster beater ...well until its under boost it is . That guys car looks tame in photos but I'm guessing he is going for mid to low 8's

That's the exhaust. It's a 5" diameter exiting through the passenger side fender between the wheel and the door. Traction and tire size will be the limiting factors with this car.
