The forecast for Saturday still shows high of 60 and thunderstorms. Then Sunday high of 71 and clear skies. the weather gods must hate mavericks, or at least just us Az. maverick guys.

So it looks like me and Tony both have bad luck picking days. Who is going to take at shot at picking a day fro the Fall meet? I think after this meet its going to be getting too hot to have another one with a good turn out.

Anyone know if the cruise on Central will be re-scheduled if it's a rain out? BTW, I heard on the news last night that the best chance for rain this weekend is Friday night and Saturday morning. I hope they are right!

Still plenty of options for the summer, just need to think indoors or poolside with plenty of cold beverages. :)

Hell if I am in the new house in time, I will throw a meet at the house for the summer.

But for me the cars are going back into storage in a few weeks until into a new house. I also going to be out of town for most the summer working :(

Yeah got to do what you got to do though. Not worth crying over spilled milk. Thinking about moving family to the cabin for the summer, and buy new place around August or so.

What sucks the most is trailering 4 cars back up north with current diesal fuel prices about 4.10 per gallon. Round trip about 125.00 or so times 4! I can hear my wallet crying already. THAT SUCKS!

This is abit off subject but is $100 for a 1970 rear bumper in good shape except for 2 extra holes from tow package, and $25 for each quarter/fender extension also in great shape. So $150 for bumper and extensions, is that a good deal? Thanks.

Sounds like a decent deal to me David.

And as far as the cruise, I'm not giving up hope yet! But now I know exactly how to get it to rain in Phoenix, just plan a Desert Mavericks meet! Anyhow, I've heard the same thing Gene...that there may be rain in the morning but it should clear out. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I haven't found a rain date yet, but I'm still checking.

Needless to say if it is raining in the morning I won't be going out to SpeedWorld....and if it clears up then I can come out early with everyone else...(y)

They will reschedule if its rained out. But if the cruise is rained out, I'm going to the club day at Speedworld on Sunday with the Mustangs guys.
