Bring it out to the track on Sunday and Have Adam come get it. then you can both watch how slow my car is. I just hope I can keep up with Gene. Now that will be a good pic, or any 2 Mavs going down togethor will be a good pic.

No I was thinking Foot race through the pits. the maverick is just coming for show. :rofl2:

Yes I am actually going to run my car. I haven't raced it since swapping the AOD in. Or since taking out the stroker short block. Going to be interesting. So its heavier and less powerful. I just hope it can still get into the 13s.

Ok Tony, the car runs. It's time to make some shake down passes. The stang guys would love to see it too since some of them know you from the Turboforums.

I Guess this means I am going to have to put some seat belts in the thing. Now where did I put those when I changed the seats out years ago? I may just have to get some universal ones bolted in so I can pass tech. I am excited. I havent drag raced in 6 or 7 years. time just flies by.

Probably not enough time, especially considering how much gas I am going to have to put in. Now I'm starting to remember all I have to do to go race: check tires, remove center caps, load spare tool box with neccessary supplies, bring extra fluids, find helmet, put in seat belts, dust off car. Wow i really don't know how I am going to do all this.

But what time would ou be heading out Gene? You going to take Dysart straight up? Caravan?

I hate waiting in lines at the gate so for a 9am gate time I would usually leave the house around 8:30 or so. I usually take 303 up and around to Grand, but if you want to caravan up we can take Dysart. Want to meet at the gas station on the northeast corner of Dysart and Indian School btw 8:30 and 8:45?
