I've had the same thing happen with my Holley blue. The lower plate gets warped and looses pressure.

well thats not good news. I started a techthread to see how common this is. I may be hunting downa new fuel pump. Will probably do another Blue pump since we stock them and I can get it at discount.

The blue pump has a long track record, but that's because it's been used for so many years and so many people have used them. I'm using an Aeromotive pump myself, but the needs of a turbo motor are way different from a n/a one. If it were me, I would just stick with the blue for what you are doing Ryan.

I have had terrible luck with these 2 years ago, and see on some of the forums guys are still having problems with them. I think there QC went down the toilet. I would recomend if your set on using an AEM get one from a place like Summit where exchanges are easy.

I went through 3 of them before finally getting one to work right.

I cannot comment on the autometer, I have never had one but I do run there gauges for everything else and trust them.

As far as widebands............. this is the only way I fly anymore after my run in with AEM:mad:

    http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products.php

I also should comment that my run ins with AEM were all with Megasquirt as well. There are known issues and supposed fixes so they play nice together ( really its just a voltage based output 0-5 volts how hard can it be if the gauge is functioning properly).

Tony with his background could maybe shed some light on it.

I could not get them to work. Thats where I got my own personal bad experience from AEM. Forum searches show alot of problems, but like any product the more of them on the street the more people who have problems with them.

I personally will not buy another product from them but thats just me.

Funny that you posted Innovate. Before asking about Autometer I was looking at the Innovate website. I used to sell their stuff too. But I didn't see one that had memory/recall. They have a good laptop or datalogging system but If I get one I don't want to bring anything more to the track then neccessary. A quick recall should show me the what i need to know after a run.

I see what your saying about the recall and not wanting to carry a laptop, I prefer it to show me on more datalog that way I can figure out where in the run I had a problem.

I am so used to having megasquirt that having a laptop under the passenger seat is just second nature. Most important tool not in the tool box. LOL

I usually just have to look in the mirror to see the problem on my runs.:(

That's why I race to beat my last ET. I don't really care what is going on in the other lane. Of course I never take home any money either, but I'm seldom dissapointed.

I'm pretty sure that with the recall I'll be able to tell where i shifted. If I can't tell then that means that everything stayed open and full throttle and should be easier to tune.

Now how did this turn to me getting a wideband? I thought Gene wanted one. Or was this my idea all along? Well I'd like one but wont be affording it anytime soon.
