That's odd. I e-mailed all the people you forwarded to me Ryan, and I added to that as well.

Yes Gene, try and hide...but it's your turn. Your track record is better than Ryans and mine. Your last race went off without as much as a hickup!

We'd never intentionally leave you out Don! I think because you replied as a no that it doesn't send subsequent e-mails.

You emailed all the people I had gotten email addresses for. Some people from my contact list replied and gave me their email address so I could send the evite to them. Many never replied to my PMs sent from the board or just never sent an email address.

The guys that signed up and aren't active may not know about our meets. But if we keep pinging them by email or PM eventually they will show up. The hard part is going through the contact list and sending out the emails to the individual people. If they don't have an email linked to this site then we'd have to send them a PM. If they aren't regulars here and still have the default settings then they should get an email telling them they have a PM here and still see it.

The fall meet will be the big one. I think we should have it at the track. Maybe a 2 day event. A saturday night gathering to eat and meet up with the out of towners driving in. Then a Sunday afternoon at Speedworld on the Club Lanes. Maybe have our own bracket tournament like my Mustang friends did a couple weeks ago on the club lanes.

We can organize this by committee. split up the contacts list to send notifications, find a saturday meeting spot and food, reserve the club lanes at speedworld, set up the Evite.

If all goes well this will be a Southwest Maverick Meet and not just a Desert Maverick Meet. If the weather cooperates.

    Oh, also..
So I built this car, but now Im really busy with school.
Anyone have a suggestion for a shop to do the rear end. I built a pretty heathy engine and put in a five speed but I have a tall one legger in the backlist really a dog.;-(

I used to work at the 7th st and Bethany Checker Auto. Been there a few different times. You probably saw it 3 or 4 years ago wheni worked there and drove the car more often. I think I only drove it there once last year when I was in that store again. Now I'm in the office dont at 7th st and Missouri so the maverick may be spotted in that area from time to time.
