still have a long way to go. actually once the clip is in and I get the engine in it will be done for now. I like primer
Been a couple of months since posting-finished subframe connectors and mini tub.So I guess its coming back up from its lowest point. But its got a long way to go
My 71 has all new front suspension, including 1 inch drop springs, new 4 leaf springs out back, 4 new shocks, front disc brakes, new 69 stang gas tank and a set of new wheels and tires... Engine bay is painted and ready to put the 302 back in... Then I need to start on the interior...
mine is in pieces but it could be done in a weekend if money was right. need front susp, gasket set for 302,dip and clean tank, front disc brakes and mc,that would be all the mechanical.
new suspension front and back, new trans and engine swap from a mountaineer. got the engine in kinda, almost done with the stereo. trying to get it running for spring
72 Maverick is done and driving but my 72 Comet has a ways to go although the engine and drivetrane is complete and I do drive it where nobody can see it I'm gathering parts for it.....
You could say it is done but I am curently waiting for the reclining bucket seats to come back from the upolstery shop next week sometime and then I will need to pull out the bench and install the buckets. I am having them done to match the existing upolstery. Should be very nice. The seats are out of my 77 parts car as seen in my images.
Mine is driveable!:d no windows tho! Finally figured out wat i am goin to do on the inside. Gunna put the head liner n paint the door jams then install my windows. Still need side window rubbers n trim.
It's a work in progress. Just finished the drive train, and partway through with the small bumper swap. Still got a ways to go cosmetically.
Phase 1 complete, but I keep finding things to do and I might need more motor and an AOD. Guess I just like working on it.
Same here. I keep finding parts to buy and things to do. I have quite a list and pile of parts for Spring time. Thats why I have the car though. Its something to tinker with that isnt over run with BS electronics that take me hours to trace down. Its my escape to simpler, better times.
