In my opinion I see 12 pics that are good. 1 is in a signature tho. Just my opinion... all are special but not all look like they are proud pics.
This is a special occurance, you should show your best angles and not your neighbors house and vehicles... maybe some standards could be had...?
Put it this way, if you want my vote, take a pic of just your car with a thought out back ground. When the board has chosen your car, the pics you submit will be displayed for all to see. Let's make a great calender! Let's set the bar for next year.
John has made the best so far and I don't think a first timer can do the same, but your pic CAN make a difference.

Also...we have to resize (reduce) our pics to upload to this board so any pics selected will have to be emailed in their full resolution to the person that will be sending them to the calendar maker.

Yeah, same here. I needed motivation to do this anyway, 'cause I'm not crazy about the pics I have. They looked better in person, but it's like the camera adds an extra ten pounds of ghetto to that carwash parking lot.

Yeah, I agree - the background can make all the difference in the world. It doesn't have to be outrageous though. Lakes, parks, etc make for great backgrounds. (y)

Hey, my signiture pics are good and there action pics ,im going keep them as my entry and if there not good enough when voting comes up ,oh well. To do a perfect Calendar you would need a 10 or 12 megapixel with 5 x zoom lence and a good photagraphy. I only started this now cuz its time ,if there done now we will have calendars by Dec 1st ,last year people started talking calendars in Nov.

Did you ever notice that John Ford's calendars had a 13th month?

    Photo quality
    8 x 10 - 4 Megapixel
    11 x 14 - 6 Megapixel

maverick1970, i agree ,i said in a earlier post that a 5 megapixel is perfect ,the calendar photo has to be about 8 x11,unless you go to a jumbo calendar for more money.
