powerglide to ford

    Bottom line, find someone that knows C-4s, and not Powerglides. They are modified differently and you have to know what you're doing. I sure wouldn't keep taking it back to someone that can't fix it right. Unless you like taking it out? Powerglides are a piece of junk. Especially if you get a factory one that someone modified. Glides got their big following because for a long time there wasn't a 2 speed trans available. If higher HP cars 2 gears was all you needed, so lots of R&D went into it. The housing are very weak and will crack and break on you. The old cast iron ones are very heavy to.
