    As I said in your other post, if I had to guess, there are 3 different bushings to support the shift tube, inside the column. They are made from, what looks like, the same material as your picture. If so, its probably a piece of one of those bushings.

    And by the way, the center bolts are in fact, M12 x 1.25. I received my new ones yesterday.
