    Thanks topcat! :Handshake
The tail light panel is just an aftermarket fiberglas part from Tony Branda Shelby Parts. It's for a 68 Shelby as are the tail lights. When I installed this setup I put the original 68 Shelby lights ( Shelby stole them from the 65 T-Bird) and added a sequencer on them. They worked fine. I recently purchased a pair of LED lights and you wouldn't believe the difference. They also came with a built in sequencer. The lights are much lighter and you don't have to have the old cast housing sticking thru the tail panel. (y)

Go to mustangproject.com they have some neat stuff.. I like the maverick tail lights so I'm going to try using a led kit they have it's 6"X3/4" and has the sequential feature built in.. They should fit inside the stock housing $109 bucks...

I got myself some '67 Cougar tail lights today! I went to the 1 big annual swap meet here near london and it was more like a chevy fest  -very little ford stuff, but I found the lights in very good nick and made the guy an offer which he accepted :bananaman

They have the chrome fins too which is like nothing else over here! Didn't want to let them slip away as your retro car stuff is rare in the UK, but the meet was organised by the national street rod association which was great- every item was original american gear and there was tonnes! Some nice motors there too and can't wait for the 1st drag day in 7 weeks.

Only problems though- the back of the lights slightly taper in at 1 end so may have to mill them flat?? And being in the UK I need orange flashers- would a really bright orange bulb be ok through the red glass or will I have to put a couple of small seperate ones hidden by the bumper or something? I plan on doing a similar thing with mustand reverse lights...

bright orange will work through red. you can also try green, which will turn out yellow through a red lens. i have the same problem over here...

Just as a favor to a guy I work with, I posted a brand new set of the mustangproject.com sequencer tail lights, that he has for sale, in the Aftermarket Parts section of the forum. These have never been mounted.

I gave all of his direct contact info in the ad but if I can help with anything, you can PM me also. :)
