    Like i stated earlier,

The Cleveland 4V and Yates HP heads have exhaust ports that are 2.00 x 1.74, these would require a 1 and 3/4 primary tube. Now unless you run HEADS that have 2.00 x 1.74 exhaust ports, you can throw duration, overlap, lift and everything else out the window cause it aint gonna matter, your HEADS wont flow what the 1 and 3/4 primary tubes are designed for.

I'll make it simple, would you run 1 and 3/4 primary tubes on a set of heads that have 1.24 x 0.96 exhaust ports, you can mix any cam or intake you like, ?

That would be something to the effect of trying to shoot a spit wad through a sewer pipe.

Wow  We got way off topic...putting aside what size headers are correct for a given application and why somebody needs/wants to run a remote oil filter any one else who's running one care to share installation photos? I appreciate those of you who have showed me some.

Sorry Fastback, not trying to side track the thread, i was just trying to make sure Junrai knew exactally what the headers were made for. I dont want anybody spending $350 when it wont help them.

Ah, no worries. I think I may mount my filter on the other side of the inner fender, kinda behind the splash shield.

Not a bad idea either, just make sure it will clear your tire through full steering and suspension compression.

97 and some 98 Expedition and F150 4X4's had a remote mounted oil filter in that same location. They are cake to change the filter and they are horizontal so they don't make a mess either.
