Yo Rat, I am missing the air pump also. It was on top of the ps pump. My PS pump is what's giving me the most grief right now. It sticks forward too far. I put washers between the bracket and the pump to shim it back a little. That puts it inline with the small groove on the wp. That small groove I believe is/was for the air pump tho. I'm thinking maybe the pump is incorrect... Starting to run out of brain capacity on this one.
Here's a couple of pics of my nightmare The PS pump is too far forward... I am not so sure that the AC bracket is correct for my 75 Comet. Hell, I don't think anything is right as far as brackets are concerned.
I got the pics Rat, thanks. Once I looked at them I realized I hadn't tried to put the belt on the PS like yours is. It looks like it will line up but my belt is too short. I am getting the belt (all), t stat housing (w/stat) and hoses tomorrow. I think I may look into getting the compressor.
Nice to hear I was of some assistance to someone in this forum. I have gotton so much help from people here, I'm glad I could return the favor. I wonder if I a Hudson hornet 308 would fit in my car. I think I know where to find one.
Here are some more pics, 1976 comet 250 I6 Try this link http://www.thebohemianguitarplayer.com/htm/1976comet.htm

That is what I noticed as well, Mine doesnt look that chaotic, this guy has wires, hoses, and tubes everywhere, I can't even see the top of the engine
I just noticed you asked about the price...duhh. I personaly think it's high. I'm not looking so that could affect the way i'm thinking too tho. I do like the seats, but not much more than that. AC definetly would have to work GOOD too.
So far this is the cheapest I was able to find around here in that shape. I did find another that is rust free, all steel is solid but does not seem to be very good taken care of. I don't know why people are so expensive in this area of the state. This is the add for it 1977 maverick - $2200 (neiderwald) 2 dr auto ps 6 cylinder front disc brakes interioris fair runs good good tires with sport wheels excellent boy 2200.00 obo call jesse 376-1941 or rudy 576-4819
Either one as long as it's a two door drivable project, That one in the add i wouldn't mind purchasing if it were $1200, maybe I am just being cheap or do you think $1200 is about what it's worth? What I see when I see that add is a drivable project that needs a lot of work to be reliable.
