I think it's a good price since it does need work. He may think it don't need as much as you think tho. All you can do is ask. I did and I got a hell of a deal when I bought mine. The guy was cool and let it go.

I'm sure someone has already tried that, he originally had it for $2800 and a few people went to go check it out, this was two months ago. then he lowered it to $2700 for about 3 weeks, now he is down to $2200, once he hits the 1000's then I will offer him something with key points that I noticed when I started it and moved it, I checked everything from top to bottom, spent about 30 minutes checking everything. The car is at someone else's property so I had the privilege to do that.

Did you poor water down the front windshield? That will let you know if it's gonna leak on YOU.

nope i didn't but I did poke around with a screw driver on the floor and checked from underneath. if it does leak it would be from the windshield gasket. but it had solid floorboards.

Actualy most if not all will leak from the cowl. The water runs down the glass and goes into the cowl and then down the inside of the firewall to the floor. It usually goes undetected cause it goes in behind the carpet and just sits. If someone uses floor mats, which almost all do, it realy gets missed.
