Still not sure what springs to get straight rate like I have or variable (I don't know how variable's behave in performance applications expecialy if I add in the shelby drop, and I do have 235/60R15's up front so I don't know if clearance/travel will be an issue). one more thing, it's been awhile sents I've done dianostic type work on my car but how do I know for sure if my upper/lower ball joints are ok? last I remember is that I jack the car up and use a prybar to try and sepurate the control arm(s) from the spendel and if there is any seperation there bad. I currently have poping when I'm backing out of a parking space with the tires turned so I don't know if that could be my ball joints or my outter tie rod end which I know need to be replaced. thanks.
Ok I know I'm probably bugging you guys to much and asking stupid questions but mustang springs will work on a maverick if I'm not mistaken and I should use some from a similar year correct? 67-73? I'm thinking C7ZZ-5310-P from mustang depot. are mustang springs any shorter/longer than maverick for the relatively same application? thanks
Ok, heres a not so stupid question... Does anyone know if there is any differance in length between mustang and maverick springs??? There are more springs with differant options out there for mustangs and only stock (or so I've found) for maverick. So this info would be helpful.
