Shock Tower Brace / Monte Carlo Bar Installed

You need to figure out a way to mass produce them and quit your day job

 

ed, those look really good. if you want another idea. i don't know how hard it would be but go to the gallery and look at the shock tower braces on my 71. they come off just by loosening them and pulling a pin. they work great. like i said just another idea. i'm sure it would also add to the cost.

 

those look good. might have to do that on the second generation ones.

 

heck, i would even like to have more time to be able to work on them.its been 2 weeks on the set im doing now.

 

i was hoping you wouldn't think i was being critical but for the car that's going to be removing them a lot they are nice. takes about 10 seconds to get one off. great for the race track.

I just went out and looked at mine. The only reason I'd need to take them off is to remove the headers.

Hopefully, I won't be needing to take my headers off that often - mine's a Low-Maintenance Race Car!

 

Ed if you get around to producing them to sell I'd like a set of tower braces to go in the stock location...some very nice work

 

i bought mine from mpg heads in colorado. they are actually for a early model mustang. i had to drill 2 of the holes at the back and take about 3/4" off of each end of the bar , retap the left hand thread. they run about $150.
