The clutch pedals are not too hard to find. As far as linkage, If I had a car I needed it for, I'd go with one of the hydraulic kits. They're a little pricy, but what isn't these days.
rcomet75, I checked out that site. Looks good, but No 6 cyl info was available. Only V8 stuff. I tried to contact them, but the site wouldn't allow that either. I'll try again some other time. I added the site to my favorites. Found out about a guy here in So.Cal. that has them too. I'll try and get with him this Sunday at the Long Beach Swap meet. Dennis, I've looked at the cable and hydrolic systems and they are interesting. If I go with a T-5 then that will be the way to go. I'm doing the standard linkage on my '63 Ranchero and added an adapter to the bell housing, but the 250 will accept a 5.0 bell housing and that will be the best way. I'm getting excited about this!
Bob, I vote also for the six, I talked to you great length about how your heart is with sixes. Someone mentioned "you will say I could have had a v8" I doubt it. If you trick out a v8, I think down the line, you will see a good six somewhere and say, damn, I should have done the 6!!
I say go with the tricked out six. I have to admit I am a little surprised there is so much support for the six. I guess that is why we all own Mavericks . . . we want to be different!
