    Hey everyone,

    My dad and I are geting on the road about 5:00 AM. Should arrive at the park at around 7:00 AM. Looking forward to it. Now I gotta go and get the few hours of sleep I can get. Got off work at 10:30! See you all there! :)

    I spoke with Rick Schmidt this afternoon. He said there were nearly 1200 cars at the show today. Great showing of Mavericks and Comets. I got to put the faces to several names in addition to seeing some folks I had already met from this forum.

    Great day! Didn't see Frank, though. Maybe next year.

    razorsharp- i am not sure of the exact date next year. let me do some digging and i will get back with you. it usually is the 2nd or 3rd weekend in january but i will try to find an exact date. i might even have mine rolling by then. who knows.

    I asked Rick Schmidt at the show if the show would be the same weekend as this year for '09. He said yes and had it worked out with Silver Springs. So, whatever dates correspond with this year's show will be those for next year.

    Every time I've gone its been the first weekend in Jan. Since the first weekend next year will be the 3rd, I"m thinking it will be the following weekend. I plan on coming down for it. There is no date yet on their web sight.
