Whay don't you and the rest of the maverick.to thread jackers go hijack a radiator thread or something

 

been there, done that. just to keep it on track. i spin my hydraulic at 7100 rpm.

 

Build that 331 with solid roller, run it a while and let me know how it works out for you...I have been thinking about the same setup, but have a couple-5 years to keep thinking before I rebuild...

 

I always loved my solid rollers in the 429 I used to race. Now I've got a 347 with a hydraulic roller...haven't fired it yet...but I'm excited to try it out. My only piece of advice...USE THE BRONZE DISTRIBUTOR GEAR! I have a buddy that cheaped out and used an iron gear in his small block 'chevy' and now he's tearing the motor down to get the broken gear parts out of it. Don't let this happen to you!!!
