I have the hurst pro matic 2. Being a rachet shifter, you will have to get used to a different feal. Installed properly, you ether like it or not. The shifter will not let you go from drive to park without hitting revers. It kills me, but 1st on through is unbeleveable. And oh ditch the nuts and bolts to bolt it down, use self tapping screws to mount the shifter.

I still canot convence myself to pull my original wheel. But if I did It would be the three spoke type. Although I am still holding onto my bad interior, rusted body and crapy floor.

Hey, what size diameter is the stock steering wheel? I swapped mine out years ago for a 13", which was nice with power steering, but now that I have manual steering installed, I need to go with something bigger.

I have been looking at something kinda like this with 14" and wrapped in black leather...

The only thing I don't like about the shiny wood steering wheels is that they feel slick, which makes me feel like I don't have good control of the car. I have a factory Ford Sport Wheel for my car, out of a Mustang II. They feel about perfect and look great in these cars .
