I like reading WHY things need certain specificates, I don't like being told to simply do something, cause the info may be incorrect somewhere along the way. Some of us need understanding to be absolutly positive... I read WHY in a previous post and I think that this reply didn't help answer any questions. No one questioned anyones qualifications that i'm aware of and really that wasn't the question to begin with. On another note, because of certain remarks or replys, I have seen that people like Lonnie and PaulS are realy admired as some of the favorites to come to when there are questions to be answered, that I can apprecieate.

All three T5's that have been in my dad's Mustang have been noisy. The T5Z that's in there right now is noisy just like the others were. The noise is hard to describe. Have been told the Pro 5.0 shifters transmit the noise.
hmm well that would make sense. it is just sounds like straight cut gear or something... really loud. not bad sounds just wines to like when i bang it through the gears. the only tranny i have that was that loud was a tko500 tremec.
