The current MC is from a 89 Ranger, I say current because I am having an issue with the pedal "feel", dont really like how soft the pedal is and cant figure out what is causing it. Have bled the brakes several times, all is adjusted the way I normally do them, so I am trying to decide if I need to change the MC to one from a maverick. I really like the looks of the Ranger MC, but if I cant stop, then something needs to be done.

It really all came together nice. Love all the details that have already been mentioned. You nailed it on the taillights.

It deserves a better gas cap, but the car is understated enough, a deluxe cap might actually detract, so I don't have a solid answer there. I get that "less is more" in this case. Maybe a really nice plain steerhead cap?
Wasn't someone here working on billet Maverick caps? Maybe some aftermarket cap for a Mustang?

Thanks Jeff, am actually working on the gas cap thing, the one thats on the car in the pics is NOT going to be on the car when finished, just there to keep the gas in the tank for now. There are several ideas rolling around in my head. I have an aftermarket one that I am going to paint and see how it looks. I have checked out the billet caps on ebay, and am not sure I wanna spend $70 on a gas cap. Havent checked out a mustang one yet.

Probably a dumb question, but would the Maverick M/C have to be a power-brake unit, or would a manual version work with that booster?

Yes, I would want it to be a P/B MC, I have one but am waiting to drive it again to see if some changes made helped.

And Jeff, I painted a cap blue today, will get a pic of it on the car when I get it back together.

How much vacuum are you getting at idle? I read that you need at least 18 inches for that booster to work. I'm definitely not getting that much on my car.

Great looking car. Did you have to use spacers/adaptors to use the 06 Mustang wheels? If so how thick are they?

Yes, spacers are required. I am using 2" on the front and 1 1/2" on the rear. Both front and rear have about 1/2 to 3/4" clearance between the rear springs or the front upper control arms.

Debating on going with some Scott Drake wheels or finding some used Mustang wheels and having to fork out $100 per axel for spacers. I do like the dish of the Drakes though.
