347, forged steel crank, forged steel rods, flat top pistons, 10.5:1 compression (perfectly happy on the street running on pump gas) it has Victor Jr. heads, C4 tranny, 4.56 gears. Trying to get the car into the 5's consistently.

    Hero

Well, it's clear to me now. You have just become my new hero. I want to be just like you when I grow up.

That last run was absolutely incredible. That's exactly how I want my car to launch some day. Please post more videos whenever you can. It's things like this that help me through these long Michigan winters.:)

Thanks everyone for the kind words, one of my friends here in town was kind enough to donate his time to put this video together for me but he also let me borrow his video camera!!! He didn't have much to work with since we only shot clips from two seperate trips to the track but he still did a good job. The last pass the car was making good power but actually didn't launch very well, the car actually shouldn't hop like that.....that means that the suspension is to tight and it bounced as soon as the power hit the tires, the poor 60' time of 1.49 backs it up. A 6.3 pass should 60' in the high 1.30's. I know it looks cool because of how violent it looks and sounds but i've got alot of suspension quirks to work out and then the car will be leaving alot better.
