I have to agree with you on the Crager SS wheels. Put them on my 73 Comet. Does give it a nice look. Looking forward to meeting you in September at the Mini Meet. Looks like Cliff from Vancouver Island, Canada is going to make it again also. Should be the best meet of the year. Sounds like almost all the members in Washington Sate are going to make it. What a great way to finish off the summer. Keep us updated & post pics.

One of these days, I'll have some Cragars for sale. I've got my eye on Centerline tel stars.

Those are nice wheels, very similar to the Cragar
Street Star, which was running a close second
    choice for my wife. :)

Update on front end and brake progress

Here are couple of pics of the latest happenings
    on my project.

Today we finished the rear brakes including all new
steel lines and braided hose. (You can also see the
one of the new KYB shocks in the background.)

Also, my new 7/8" sway bar came in five days
    early from PST! Woohoo! :D

Boy, it's a nice little chunk to mount up into place.
Looks great though. All the wheels are back on and
it MAY actually hit the ground rolling sometime in
    the next week or so.

I sure hope so, that's my goal! :)

As far as firing it up, I was ready for that weeks
ago. I think I might blow one of my own gaskets
    when it actually happens. :D

    Thank you!

The shock part numbers for front and rear are:

    #343146
    #343136

I got them at a local Thrifty Auto Supply.
    www.AutoCrafters.com also carries them.

Hey Al....are you going to be needing the front & rear bumpers rechromed? I've been dealing with a place in Spokane, Wa. The '73 Comet front & rear bumper are $250.00 a piece. The shipping to Seattle is $20.00. Restorationchrome.com is the name of the company. I've been dealing with Jim. They ship me a straightened & rechromed bumper & I ship them back my old one as a core. They don't charge a core charge. They take your word that you will send it. Only takes one day to get it. I send them my payment via PayPal. Just something to keep in mind, in case you need them. I'll take a picture tomorrow of the rear bumper. They are doing the front one for me now. Takes about 3 weeks once they get your order. The place in Seattle wanted $380.00 a piece for the bumpers rechromed (Ouch!).

Got the bumper installed today. I don't think I ever seen one straight. LOL Can't wait for the front one now. The company is called Allied Plating. Here's a couple of pictures....
