I THINK I BOUGHT THE SAME GAUGES AS YOU ! is it 3 small ones i think they wer 20$ and my water temp gauge dosent work some times and the lights wer very dim then they started to burn out one by one ! look at my pics to see if they are the same one's there should be a rule's about building crap
If it was this set, then yes. The ammeter seems to be accurate enough, I checked that with my multimeter. I don't have a way to check the oil pressure gauge, but what it's telling me seems sane. The temp gauge is junk though. All of them will be replaced soon.
there should be a rule's about building crap[/QUOTE] That would be the end of the big box stores and Walmart.
This eBay store is selling Stewart Warner gauges cheap to clear out old stock. Might be a deal or two in there. DD Instruments
excuse me; how may I install the amp meter???; my battery is being depleted very fast thanks in advance Octavio
Isn't everything in Harbor Freight made in China? If China had rules against building crap nothing would be built in China
Doing it for a living I dont trust any in car gauge. Have to verify with a known good thermometer or IR. A good IR gun should be in a car guys garage. It has so many uses. I highly suggest it. When I run a car I have my thermometer in the rad and I use my IR gun to monitor the temp below the stat If I am burping out air. When the sat opens and it burps I top it off and seal it. Then use the IR gun to verify fan on temp.
