    that's a mexican prototype.

Look at the spoiler, its a bit taller than the US version. And im pretty sure its the one they used on the shelby one. I've seen one of these spoilers in person about 4 years ago when i went to mexico, theyre really nice :)

It looks like it has CA plates on it. :hmmm: Anyone have a better picture of the taller Mexican spoiler? I have always thought the spoiler would look even better a little taller.

I personally woulden't cut one into a vert. The smooth roofline is what makes these cars.Come to think of it i really don't like any convertables.Don't like many chopped tops either.
Just dont wreck the roof is what i guess i'm saying here.

I dont really like convertiables but i've seen some real nice roadsters. My boss built this opel gt roadster 8 years ago. Its called the spyder. Best opel i have ever seen IMO. And i have seen quite a few. Been to more opel meets then i have maverick meets lol. My boss is an opel expert though.

Why not make a 4 dr a 2 dr for something different? Lengthen the door and shorten the wheelbase. Sort of a Maverick coupe!

I worked on a Chrysler 300 hemi car they turned into a 2 door no top. Didnt make a top for it just a real nice no roof job. You dont have to have a working roof just get rid of it so it looks like a convertible.

Thats a good point. The roof/fastback look is what makes the car.
