Threw away some parts today....

    I just put both inner front bumper frame brackets from a 71 Comet in the metal recycling box here .... so rusty I can't imaging anyone having a use for them. One has a three inch hole in it where part of it stayed, rusted to the frame.

    I did manage to save three of the six brackets, but both outers need to be repaired a bit. One of the two special Comet center pieces crumbled in my hand, the other one OK.

    Good thing there was a rechromed bumper hanging off all of this.... ;)
