throttle cable

    I went to auto groan and bought a universal throttle cable kit
    braided steel..looks great. hooked it up, had to cut it to size and buy a bracket(chrome) but it works great.....smooth!!!

    throttle kit...Spectre brand... #228260 cut to fit, just follow directions...
    bracket.......#2428...mr gasket brand
    works like a charm...Jim

    for what it is worth, i am told that a v/8 cable from a granada is almost identical to the v/8 mav cable...another set of:2cents:.... if you ever see a cable on ebay, buy it! i think i still have 2 cables from 302 mavs in inventory. not for sale. i just keep them cuz you never know when you may need one and they seem to be getting harder to find every day. kinda like my spare 302 with ac radiator and shroud.... just sitting there in my garage in case i need it. once at a yard isaw a mav with a 302. they previous customer wanted the swap parts (frame mounts belly bar etc.) must not of realised that a throttle cable is also a swap part. rather than just un clip it from the carb, he freakin cut it!!!! that is soooo wrong!!!!!!
