I got the mav. back together today! It really sounds awesome, and I bet it will fly. I need to go to the track and shake it down before the round-up, but I am scared too, I am afriad I will break something! I might just wait and try to make the first FULL pass at the round-up!

I know how you feel. Last year I was still wrenching on the Sprint till 10PM. Loaded it in the trailer, went to bed, and got up 5 hrs later and headed to Indiana. Was it worth it???. HELL YES!!!!!!!

This year I still have to rebuild the rear in my Bronco this weekend. I dont know why it always seems to work out this way.

THat sucks Jim!! It's Tuesday morning and I still have two ports left to do on the intake and I'm not gonna have time to polish the outside of it!!:( I'm on the downhill slope though and unless something major happens i'll be loading up the car tomorrow night!!!

I'll be there late sat morn, and my 15 yr old son is really looking forward to seeing all these mavs. We're really hopin to leave with at least a down payment on a nice lookin yellow mav,as i've promised him his first REAL car will be like the one i lost in my home fire 2 years ago.Cant wait to see so many of my favorite cars gathered in one spot.My only problemis,I'll be driving my Toyota Rav4 to the meet, instead of a Ford.Hopefully,I'll have the Ford to bring to next years meet.See you all Saturday. Well, I"ve got good news and bad news!! I got the car all put back together and got it running......I noticed that the second time I fired the engine that the oil pressure had dropped from 55 psi to about 30 psi., I loosened the oil pan drain plug and water started to drip out....it started to trickle out as I removed the drain plug!!!! I really am not sure what has caused this but one thing I can be sure of is the car will not be coming with me to the roundup!!! I'm kinda pissed off right now and I think i'll go have a few beers!!! see everyone at the roundup..... :(

Yeah, beer sounds real good right now. Man, that bites, I was looking forward to seeing your car. Sounds like a gasket either failed or didnt seal right.
