If you want the whine or "noise" of a gear drive.... get a blower!! It's much cooler!!!

AMEN to that. Much "cooler" performance wise, too. :yup:

To tell the truth, I would like a blower or turbo engine with a gear drive! :D

Oh, and don't forget the Holley blue pump!

On a 6 cylinder with straight pipes. Let me know when you get it done so we can take it on a long road trip. :biglaugh:

I think you guys need to chill

We've all pretty much agreed that belt drives are best.
Most of us agree that chains are better than gear drives

    Just agree to disagree.
Not everyone can be an internet expert or a true professional. Get over your egos. Its just a few HP difference you guys are arguing about right?

All I have to add is buy a quility timing chain set. Every engine I have built I have used the $50-$60 dollar set, The street boss I decided to buy a better one, well the steel gear sets are much lighter than the cast steel. Lighter = more HP like 25-50 :D just kidding...........

Just because your a janitor in an engine shop doesn't mean crap to me!
    J/K ;)

You are making something personal when I was agreeing with you, just leery of the high numbers.
If you say so, then fine.
