When you installed your subframe connectors.Did you do it on a 4 point lift or a drive on???If you did it on a 4 point and can loosen them up do it.I know mavs are a bit mushy chassis wise and you should install frame connectors on a drive on lift so that the chassis is not flexed beyond its norm. This goes for any car you intend to tighten up chassis wise.As far as your pinion angle is concerned,You want 2 to 3 degrees of downward angle at ride height. The cal tracs are very adjustable but I have seen situations where wedge plates are necessary to correct pinion angle. You seem to have found a pretty good angle finder,it should do just fine. The car does need to be at the ride height that it sees going down the road.If your wheel dollies are not level front to rear this will affect accuracy.Take your time, check everything twice.Just for future reference: When you make chassis mods or drivetrain mods, baseline the car first.Check lengths, angles, positions of what will be affected before you tear into it.Reason being if you have a problem you cant solve, you will at least have info on what is normal and what is not when trouble shooting.Hope this helps you.Good luck.
